Churchill Auctions Shipping Policy

Churchill Auctions offers an in-house postal service for many, but not all, auction lots.

Eligible lots are assigned a shipping group, which can be found within the individual lot listing on Easy Live Auctions or The Saleroom. This allows buyers to check the applicable shipping eligibility or charge before bidding.

All shipping and packing charges are subject to VAT.

UK SHIPPING

The minimum shipping charge is £15 + VAT.

Items sent through our in-house service will normally be dispatched using Royal Mail Tracked 24 with Signature or Royal Mail Special Delivery, depending on the nature and value of the goods.

Shipping Groups

Group A — £15 per lot
Additional Group A lots in the same parcel: £2.50 each
Maximum parcel weight: 2kg
Maximum parcel value: £2,500

Group B — £20 per lot
Additional Group B lots in the same parcel: £5 each
Maximum parcel weight: 20kg
Maximum parcel value: £2,500

Group C — £30 per lot
Additional Group C lots in the same parcel: £15 each
Maximum parcel weight: 20kg
Maximum parcel value: £2,500

Group D — £50 per lot
Additional Group D lots in the same parcel: £25 each
Maximum parcel weight: 20kg
Maximum parcel value: £500

Group X — Collection / Third-Party Shipping Only

Churchill Auctions cannot provide in-house shipping for Group X lots.

Buyers who cannot collect in person must arrange their own courier or third-party shipping provider.

Churchill Auctions does not pack items for collection by third-party couriers unless this has been specifically agreed with us in advance. Unless otherwise agreed, items will be released to the courier unpacked, and the buyer is responsible for ensuring that their chosen courier is able to pack and transport the items safely.

MULTIPLE LOTS

Where suitable, multiple lots may be combined into one parcel.

For lots from different shipping groups, the highest applicable group charge will be applied first, followed by the relevant additional-lot charge for each remaining item.

Whether lots can be combined will depend on their size, weight, value and nature.

If no shipping group is shown against a lot, please contact us before bidding for advice.

EU & INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

We can offer shipping to most international destinations on lots that qualify for postage. Please contact us for a tailored quote.

Buyers are responsible for meeting any applicable customs, import, export or documentation requirements.

DISPATCH

Please allow up to 14 days from receipt of cleared payment for dispatch.

COLLECTION & RELEASE OF GOODS

Goods will only be released once full payment has been received and the invoice is shown as paid.

If a courier, representative or other third party is collecting on the buyer's behalf, the buyer must provide written authorisation before collection, stating the name of the person or company collecting.

Identification may be requested from any collector or courier not already known to Churchill Auctions.
